As humans we are wounded, broken and cracked, sometimes deeply. Many of us may not be whole or as perfect as we wished, yet we are whatever wholeness we have at this moment in time. It’s taken time to accept my wounded, broken and cracked life as the gift of wholeness it is rather than wanting to be perfect. I’ve found tools to help work on the broken parts, and asked others for help when it’s needed. For many this is a new way of thinking and seeing ourselves, others and all of creation. I pray that even through the brokenness we can see the wholeness of who we are, our true-self.

Color and Vibrancy
The new vision, since the cataract surgery, is amazing. I now see 20/20 out of both eyes. I do need reading glasses but those are cheap and found almost everywhere. The color difference, the brightness and clarity of the simple everyday things have just been life changing. I became aware a couple years ago of how my condo seemed to not be as bright and airy to as in the past. Now I understand it’s because my sight was deteriorating due to the on coming cataracts. The light of morning sunshine has more color and vibrancy. Enjoy the coming week!

Blue Skies
“I am a hole in the flute that the Christ’s breath moves through listen to this music. I am the concert from the mouth of every creature singing with the myriad chorus.” Hafiz, The Gift
Had to stop and get a photo of the pond at the North Shields Natural Area this morning.!

I need to listen to these words..
“…the only way to grow, to expand your repertoire of ideas about what will work for you, and to avoid simply imitating yourself, is to try something that hasn’t worked for you before.” Michael Frye

Car Show
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”63″ display=”basic_slideshow”]This past Saturday they had a car show in Old Town. After coffee I meandered through the streets. Not sure how many cars they had but it was several blocks of cars. Its times like this when I wish I had one of these classics. I also found a couple of 56 Chevy’s which was the first car I ever had. I was impressed with how much care these owners gave their cars. What a beautiful day for it!
