Students were back in class this past week after having the previous week off for spring break. I took this image yesterday. So, I’m thinking they had beer left over and just continued to party into this week or there were no survivors from spring break. 🙂

Enjoy the Little Things
It’s Monday morning and the beginning of a new week. So, what would the world be like if we lived what this sign says? Found it on the wall at The Little Bird Bakery in Old Town over the weekend.

Free Hersheys
As I walked up to get on the bus I noticed these Hershey candy bars laid out on the rock bench. Were they free? No one was around. I’m well aware that placing chocolate out in the open is a temptation for many people, myself included! But this scene was even more tempting because it was not just a single candy bar but motherload of eight. Now being a compulsive Hersheys candy bar thief I quickly checked around for any eyewitnesses. Seeing no one around I reached for one, knowing very well I was about to take two or more.
However, something stopped me from taking them. The instant I touched them I began to laugh at the situation. What stopped me and caused me to laugh was discovering they were cleverly “glued” to the rock bench. I took this image then looked to see if I was secretly being watched and quickly got on the bus. I’m still laughing at myself. -
Watering the Aspens
Elf Lane (also known as “Gnome Road”) is mountain trail in the quaint village of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. The trail is a quarter-mile long between Lake Hiawatha and Lake Apache.
As you enter Elf Lane, there is a sign posted on a tree that reads: “PLEASE Do not take us, Break us, or Relocate us As We Live Here on ELF Lane to Watch over children and All the Little Animals.” As we walked the trail we found ceramic little characters; elves, gnomes, spiders, Elmo, angels, SpongBob, SquarePants, and many more. The little character who caught my eye was busy watering the aspen tree. 🙂

Where’s the Sand?
Someone seems to have lost interest in their sand pail. Just thought it might be be due to lack of sand here in Colorado. 🙂 Found along Fisher Nature Trail.

Had to take a pit stop.

Snowman
As I drove home Friday afternoon I noticed this new snowman in the front yard of a home along Mountain Avenue. Turned the car around so I could meet this fellow and see if he’d let me post an image of him on my blog. He had a Kool hat. I thought I heard him say yes. 🙂
