    Winter Reminder

    It is still winter
    It is still winter

Well the First Day of Spring will be on Sunday so winter decided to remind us that it is still winter. Mixed snow and rain began falling early yesterday morning and continued through the night. We received between 4 and 5 inches as of this afternoon. And, tonight is expected to drop down into the low teens.

Over the past 18 hours snow has been falling here in Colorado. We have between 6-8 inches of snow from the predicted 70% chance. Glad it was not 100% chance. Stayed home most of the morning then ventured out for a while later this afternoon for some exploring with my camera. Stay warm, it’s suppose to be in the single digits tonight!

Seeing, in the finest and broadest sense, means using your senses, your intellect, and your emotions. It means encountering your subject matter with your whole being. It means looking beyond the labels of things and discovering the remarkable world around you.Freeman Patterson

“What’s really important is to simplify. The work of most photographers would be improved immensely if they could do one thing: get rid of the extraneous. If you strive for simplicity, you are more likely to reach the viewer.” William Albert Allard

I hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed coming year!

    It just hangs on.

I’ve walked by this leaf every day this winter. Teaches me there are times we need to hang on and other times we need to let go and allow life to carry us on. It just hangs on.
