A photograph is not an opinion. Or is it?

More lines catching my eye but the first thing to draw me was the light. Love morning light and this was all about the light! The color of the light was lovely but my camera washed out the highlights, nor could I seem to find anything to please me with Lightroom. Finally converted it to black and white in Silver Efex and was then a happy camper. It tickles me and causes a smile. 🙂

Strange to be back in class

    Shadows on Campus
    Shadows on Campus

I have been spending more time on campus since I began auditing a new class call Spiritual Deminsion of Human Life. I have a friend who is a professor at CSU and has invited me to sit in on this new class. Strange to take a seat in a college classroom after 25 years.

They have a program for the seniors where at the discretion of the instructor, seniors 55 years of age or older may attend any University class as a visitor without formal registration, provided on campus classroom space is available and it’s free. I can do homework but do not turn it in, nor do I take any quizzes of finals. I’ve found it fun.

    Morning Shadows

Just as I was about to leave the other morning I noticed the morning sun as it streamed the my bedroom window and cast shadows on my closet door. Grabbed the camera and took three images. Another example where images do come to us as gifts. Some people will not be drawn to this image but I am. It’s simple and many times overlooked.

“Instead of hating the people you think are war-makers, hate the appetites and disorder in your own soul, which are the causes of war. If you love peace, then hate injustice, hate tyranny, hate greed – but hate these things in yourself, not in another.” Thomas Merton
