We had a dusting of snow a couple of days ago. I must admit I do enjoy watching it snow, so quiet and peaceful. However, I’m not a fan of shoveling and driving in it nor do I enjoy the cold temperatures that come with it. As the years of my life continue to increase, I am not able to stand up to the cold as I once did. Today, I felt the urge to venture out into it so I bundled up and made my way over to Blendon Woods Park. There I found nature had added to its beauty with its light brushing of snow. Brown leaves, curled by autumns frosts, had formed small cups where nature had quietly filled them with snow. I love how nature is always providing us the opportunities to enjoy it and if you have your camera, even create a few images.

Monte, wonderful photo and the blog snow flakes over this particular photo initially had me do a double take! 😉
I have to bundle up more then I once did but I still love the cold and the small amounts of snow we receive here.

Monte: I had noticed the snowflakes and thought, initially, that I was seeing things. I flipped to a couple of other pages, no snow, so I figured that maybe I wasn’t loosing it.
I really like chilly weather and snow scenes, but I’m not much for long spells of them.

I also am a fan of the snow flakes. Very nice. You stated so perfectly my position on the cold weather. I love looking at the snow; but, at least so far this year, I have have had no desire to tromp around in it.

When I first saw your snow flakes I wonder if I had “floaters” in my eyes. I also find the cold temperatures less fun than they once were a few years ago!
