This past week I was on the east side of town searching for sunrise photos and stopped by Bindle Coffee. Had a mocha and a maple knot croissant that was too die for. They had the fire pit on the patio going so I sat out there, keeping close to the warmth and enjoyed my morning treats. Yes, I do spoil myself.

Warm fire at Bindles and morning sunrise
Not many coffee shops have a circular gas fire pit outside their door. If you get there early enough you can sit on the patio and watch the sun rise while sipping on a coffee. Today has not been that kind of day as it’s been cloudy with light rain most of the day. They are predicting the rain to change to a mix of snow and rain after midnight and into the morning. Probably not going to sit by the fire pit in the morning if that’s the case.

Coffee With a Friend
I met my friend Pat at Bindles Coffee yesterday morning. It had been a while since we had coffee and conversation. We usually catch up on our lives, the kids and grand kids and show photos. I consider her a good friend for many years. We agreed we need to meet more often, and will.
While we were there these three young guys came in with their mother. Each had an apple with big bites in each of them. I consider that a good thing. Thanks for meeting up with me, Pat, and enjoy your week off. See you in a couple weeks.

Free Coffee?
“Every morning was a cheerful invitation to make my life of equal simplicity, and I may say innocence, with Nature herself.”
Henry David Thoreau, WaldenWell, not really as we pay for them somehow. Many coffee shops are setup to offer a discount after 10 or 12 purchases. Some even offer free drinks and food. I’ve never had the nerve to calculate how much money I spend just to have a $2.00 discount or free coffee. And, I probably won’t! 🙂
