I love blue skies! So, after getting off the bus and walking to Morgan Library on Colorado State University campus I had to smile and point my camera to the northern skies. I find this time of the year to be a favorite. We begin to have cooler temperatures making for a better night of sleep and refreshing mornings. And, I think the blue skies are bluer! 🙂
Instead of taking my walk around the block I headed to the North Shields Ponds nature area. The Poudre River runs along the nature area and this is where I stopped and sat along the rivers edge. The clear skies made for wonderful fall colors. The soft sound of the gentle flow of the river was soothing. A good way to start the day.

When taking my camera for a walk, since I don’t have a Hobbs or a Foster, I need to always remember to look all around me which means I also need to look up. Never know what I might see. 🙂
