    Back to Study Time

    Studytime
    Study time before the rush

Well, school is back in session and with classes starting campus has transformed, again. Traffic is a mess again with cars and only one passenger. Bicycles and skateboarders are everywhere. Most coffee shops are packed with students writing and researching. However, if you go early enough you can find a table to enjoy a latte, mocha, tea and a bit of quiet.

    Watching the Sunset

    Sharing a Moment Together
    Sharing a Moment Together

A moment of anger can destroy a lifetime of work, whereas a moment of love can break barriers that took a lifetime to build.

This morning is overcast and cloudy. One of those solid and flat gray skies with very little texture. The temperature is around 60 degrees so it is pleasant to be outside, walking or riding the bicycle.

I leave a week from today for 6 weeks. Will camp one night at Great Sand Dunes NP and and one night at Canyon Dechelly then on to Phoenix to spend the rest of the time with family.

    Free Concert in Old Town

    Free Concert in Old Town

While in Old Town Square this past weekend I came upon this father and his daughter in concert. They were blowing on this kazoo sort thingies. He was playing the piano and she was pounding the keys, totally oblivious to everyone around them. It was awesome. Well, to be honest they could use a little more practice together. 🙂

    Time On Campus

    Studytime
Architecture, Colors, Patterns, Art and People

I enjoy spending time on campus at Colorado State University. The campus is just a few blocks from my condo, an easy walk, bike ride or a short bus ride to the transit center on campus. I use the library for quiet time to read and write. There are three little coffee shops on campus, one in the library and two in the Lory Student Center. There are images everywhere when you look: architecture, colors, patterns, art. And, what a place to watch people, mainly young students, as they move from class to class. And, if your into fast food you’ll think you’ve d moved on to heaven.
