Fall colors are vibrant now. Gold and yellow the predominant colors for Colorado. I love the contrast between the gold and blues, makes things seem to pop. Then add some lovely sunshine and I get all giddy inside. 😊

We all have certain subjects we gravitate towards. I find my archives to have primarily images of wide open horizons with clouds, trees, fields of grass, open meadows, sunshine and the shadows it spreads around. This was taken last week on an afternoon drive outside the city. This morning I sit on my porch typing this post. Clear skies, sunshine and around 50 degrees. The birds are singing their songs of joy. Almost perfect.
Or maybe they are singing because it’s Ruth’s birthday. Happy Birthday Ruth!

It is cloudy and overcast this morning but still warm. Rain is possible later and welcomed. Have a rather busy Sunday which will help keep me out of trouble. This image is from Friday mornings walk at The Gardens on Spring Creek. Have a great Sunday!

Awoke today with overcast skies and a light drizzle, the kind of rain a gardener would love. This image is from earlier in the week when we had a cloudless afternoon sky. It’s getting darker, an ominous feel, hearing a rumble of thunder every now and then so expect it to rain. I say bring it on! Think I’ll just sit on the covered porch and read.
What a beautiful day here in Colorado. Blue skies and sunshine. I took an early morning walk at one the nature areas. I have nothing on my calendar so now resting before taking a couple naps this afternoon.
A couple days ago I came upon this young lady sitting outside one of the classrooms on campus, basking in the warm sun. We have had blue skies and warm sunshine but cold nights, temperatures dropping below 20 at night. However, this weekend is predicted to be much warmer. Looking forward to it. Enjoy your weekend.
