Frigid Morning
I glanced at the clock, it said 5:30 am. The darkness of my room let me know it was cold outside, making the bed feel warm and inviting. The sun would be rising in an hour. I had plenty of time to dress and drive out to County Road 15 in search of a morning sunrise. I pulled the covers up, snuggled under the comforter and closed my eyes.

Cold and Snow
Yesterday morning is was -4 degrees (F) and snowing. This morning is warmer, up to 10 degrees (F) and bright sunny skies. Forecast is for chance of more snow the next couple of days. Brrrr! I took this image yesterday morning at the coffee shop. I noticed no one was sitting outside. Maybe they should have cleaned off the tables. 🙂

I need to walk more. And, today is my dads 85th birthday. Love you, Dad!

It’s Cold Outside
2-3 inches of snow fell Friday and Saturday which I don’t mind. Well I have my limits on how much. What I do mind is when the temperatures falls and falls and falls. The snow and frost can be beautiful but the cold that goes with it are not pleasant. So, this morning at 8:01 am it was -5 (F). And, check out that humidity. Baby, it’s cold outside. Lets’ see if it reaches the predicted 27.

Life in Colorado
Yesterday morning I drove through Rowland Moore Park and found they’d cancelled the volleyball game. Something about snow and 32 degree temperature. So I headed over to Cafe Ole and indulged in a coffee and slab of freshly backed carrot bread. By 9:00 we had blue skies and sushine. By 2:00 pm it was 45 degrees and the snow was melted. Such is the life in Colorado.
