And that’s the hard part, it seems. That discovery of who you are stripped of all social expectations, etc. It’s an interesting discovery process. This looks like a nice place to sit and contemplate about it, though.

It also requires some deep honesty and courage to enter on that discovery. I’m not always willing to see the real me. But, it is a journey so I attempt to walk along.

Haven’t been by for awhile Monte — things are looking good here as always. This one works beautifully in B/W — what really draws my attention are the roof tiles. Must be the pattern… it echoes the arches a bit. Very good.
Great quote too.

Glad you stopped by and thanks, Paul.

This image seems rockmsolid. I don’t feel that way, certainly.

I don’t always feel that way either. Yet, that’s the sign I’m working on it. In progress, as they say.

Pride making us artificial, yes quite likely, among other things. Humility making us real, maybe it points that way but at some point that too can become another veneer. As you say Monte, discovering ourselves is more a matter of courage and honesty.

Fear has crushed so many of my dreams and aspirations even though I have been successful in life. I would like to think I’m working all that discovery stuff. 🙂
