The Cottonwood Tree

“Today everything exists to end in a photograph.”

Susan Sontag

Here is another image from my walk at the Arapaho Bend Nature Area this past weekend. Hope everyone is enjoying their leftover candy from Halloween Night. Strange how we always buy too much of it. 🙂

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

You sure had a great sky that day, Monte.

One of the advantages of living in a neighborhood with no kids is that we don’t need to buy candy. Unless of course we want some for ourselves! 😉

Lovely image, Monte! Nope, we don’t do Halloween. There are some RV Parks which are big on it but we try to avoid them. We don’t buy any candy or hand any out. We are perhaps the bah-humbug’s of Halloween! lol

I’m right with you on that one. Haven’t bought Halloween candy in years. We get very few door knockers in my condos. My friend, Joan, said she had hardly any children coming around. I’m not even sure of its intent. I could say that about other such events.
