Hotel Ironing

Ironing

I discovered some time ago that ironing was not something I enjoyed, it’s in the same category as going to the dentist. However, when I took on this job with all it’s traveling, I needed to rethink that task. So, I am now accustomed to ironing prior to trips and while on the road. So, hear is one of those scenes I see on a regular basis with nice white window light.

LOL! I actually like ironing, though not too much of it. It’s kind of meditative, the feel of the iron gliding over the fabric, seeing the wrinkles disappear, the feel and smell of the steam. I don’t, however, like going to the dentist. There’s nothing meditative in that exercise! 🙂

Having just visited the dentist I would have to rank it among my most unfavorite necessities. Ironing…well, I always look for “permanent-press” or “never needs ironing” when I make a clothing purchase.

Beautiful light, but the subject sent a shudder through my body. Faye’s sister-in-law is a rare creature. Yes, it can be meditative, but I can always find things that I would much rather do that put me in a similar state!

I’ve never touched an iron Monte. It doesn’t look like something I’d enjoy. Now, about this iron, do you have to set the f-stop and shutter speed? Does it have screw on filters? Is it a bayonet mount? Does it “auto” take out the wrinkles, or do you have to focus in on trouble spots? And finally, when you done, do you hang your own shirts or send them to the Lab? LOL
