This is last night’s sunset on my sisters patio. We head home this afternoon to cooler weather. Sure have enjoyed the family time.

There’s something about sunsets and palm trees that just go together. I’m sure you’re not terribly excited about returning to the cold, but it sounds like you had a good visit.
The quote is especially appropriate this time of year. Lots of people who need a smile but not nearly enough being given.

I’m back home. The cold is not too bad, 34 degrees right now. Sitting in Mugs with a mocha and scone.
I would be sitting on the patio enjoying the sunsets on a regular basis if I lived down there. I may feel different in August when it’s 110 degrees.

Well, at least you have a place to get away to in the winter! Like you said, though, the weather may not be so enticing in the summer time … unless you like brutally hot climates. 🙂

One thing I noticed or became aware of was the clear blue skies. Coloradon is noted for its days of sunshine but we seldom have days without clouds. Down there it’s not unusual to go a day or so with nary a cloud. Still hot!
