Listen to silence, it has much to say.

Good morning from Colorado! I woke up early and got out of bed about 4:00 am. I had a nice, quiet meditation then enjoyed more quiet and prayer, waiting for the sunrise at Pineridge Natural Area. A cool breeze began to stir among the brush and grasses. There was an orange glow among the few clouds in the eastern sky. I listened to the silence! May you listen to the silence!.

Thank you for the reminder, Monte. Interestingly enough, I took a half-n-hour to just sit in the morning sunlight in the backyard this morning. I haven’t been able to do that for some time. This tranquil photograph and your warm share have inspired me to continue to make the time and space to continue this practice, as I use to do most every morning. Meeting The Creator in the morning quiet is an immense gift. I am afraid that I am not quite ready to do so at 4:00AM though!!

I know what you mean Geri, because at 4:00 am I may not be functioning the on all cylinders. Silence, quiet, and solitude are so important at this stage in my life. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
