I was doing somethings on my laptop in the lounging chair and happened to look down to see Willow basking in the morning sun. You know a cat sure has a tough life. 🙂

That is a healthy, well-fed cat. Since she is part in the sun and part out, I wonder if she is there for the warmth or intrigued by the light itself. Truly a photographer’s cat.

This is my nieces cat, Willow. She and Sky are the king and queen of the house and just allow us humans to reside here, as long as we feed them. She does enjoy the sunshine as I catch her basking in it all the time.

Both cats and dogs. They must have done something right in a past life, I think.

Yes, what a life.

If I gets to be reborn, I so want to become a cat. Best life ever.

Sleep, eat and play. No bills to pay, no alarm clocks, no cell phones. Yep, sounding better all the time.

As an adult, I have never had a cat. Willow causes me to re-think that position. I love the way the shadow in the image falls over the darkest part of the cat.

This cat was abandoned at a construction site along with her siblings. She had a major gash on her neck and all were very under nourished when rescued. So, from that life she is now the queen of this kingdom. 🙂
