Sunset Over the Rockies Last Night

A cold front moved into our area yesterday afternoon. With the cold front came the high wind gusts and awesome cloud formations. After reaching a high of 80 degrees in the afternoon we woke up this morning to a brisk 32 degrees. That’s about 50 a degree change in 14 hours and not that unusual for this time of the year. It’s also the first time for the furnace to come on.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

We’re getting a cold front through here over the weekend…heck it was even cooler this morning. But 32 degrees is a little too cold too soon for my taste.

Beautiful sunset photo — love those clouds!

It was 31 degrees this morning at 4:30 when I headed to the airport. It started snowing after 10 minutes on the road then light snow fell the rest of my hour and a half drive. This morning was the fist de-icing of the season. Ill see more of that over the next few months. More snow is predicted for tonight but here I sit in Dallas where it’s 74 degrees. I can live with this. 🙂
