I get in trouble when I try to “help” with crosswords. Probably because I’m not terribly helpful. 🙂

I love how this photo shows their intensity though. You can tell they are really serious about it.

I use to do them on a regular basis years ago. I also remember my grandmother working them all the time and even had her own dictionary she created. Puzzles are not the same as they were in the past.

It nice this couple is sharing a common interest like this. So often you see couples sitting across the table from one another silent, hardly ever saying a word or interacting at all. It makes you wonder if they even like each other.

I’m not helpful at all with crosswords.

I found it interesting when they were suggesting answers while other store customers around them could listen. A man sitting next to them got so caught up in it he turned and offered a few suggestions. It quickly became a small community working to solve a problem. 🙂 And, who knows what help we can offer with one of our questions or suggestions. It was a good time and brought on a smile.

What!? Why aren’t they texting? Like, don’t they have phones, or something?

You really captured the mood here. Well done. Darn it. You always make this look easy. Sigh!

Hey, these are part of us older folks who don’t need those techy devices. They are in the present moment rather than trying to stay connected to someone else in another place. Even as I write this there are two young ladies having a conversation a the table next to me. Lots of talking going on with there hands. Thanks, Anita.
