I met a friend for coffee yesterday morning and we had a surprise centerpiece on our table. Loved the way it looked and with the diffused light it made a good image. I shot this vertical and realized how seldom I do that. Hope everyone has a wonderful week. The coffee and conversation were just what was needed on a cold and snowy morning.

Nice! Something holiday’est about the centerpiece in all its simplicity. The photo worked well in portrait. You have a good week also, Monte!

Thanks, Brooks! It is now about 20 degrees and light snow falling.

One of my photography teachers likes to ask the question: “When’s the best time to take a vertical photo? Answer: “Right after you take the horizontal photo!” I sometimes forget that the camera can go that way, too. 😉

I remember once in awhile.
