Another early morning at the Pineridge Natural Area with coffee and journal. It is always a great way for me to start my day. My topic of interest in my journaling was my tendency for sloth in several areas of my life. Thought I better post something before I forget how or put it off any longer. May need to post a blog on this and get your feedback. But not now, maybe tomorrow.
After time at the nature area I met my youngest daughter for breakfast, my first time to sit down and eat in a restaurant. They only allowed us to use every other table and we could take our mask off to eat, which was convenient. Now on my porch to write this post while being annoyed by a rather loud leaf blower. Can you tell I’m beginning to hate them! Anyway, have a great weekend.

Ah, the morning leaf blower. Nothing like it to interfere with a nice thought process. It was nice that you had a chance to have breakfast out with a loved one, and especially nice to be able to remove your mask while you eat! 🙂
We’re making our first restaurant foray next week. Should be OK because it is a good restaurant and they know how to do things right.

I haven’t seen Monica in about 8 weeks so it was especially good. Breakfast wasn’t bad, either. I must admit I felt a bit out of sorts because things are different eating out.

I hate leaf blowers as well. But when I became the sole caretaker of an acre of trees, I had to change my time a bit. Glad to hear that restrictions have eased and you were able to enjoy spending time with your daughter. Stay safe and healthy!

Thank you, Faye! I also went to the CSU experimental gardens to write. Hadn’t been there 5 minutes and a crew started up a chain saw and wood mulcher behind me. I left for quieter places. An acre of trees sounds like a lot of work.
