Our neighbor directly across the street has a Dodge Charger with loud exhaust. Wouldn’t be so bad if he wasn’t a huge “gas-butt” that starts his days about 6:30am, sometimes earlier, and comes and goes multiple times throughout the day. Yes, (some) cars are indeed loud!

I have a man in the apartments across that ponds that can wake the dead (gas-butt) with his Mustang with loud exhaust. However, just standing at the bus stop I close my eyes and listen to the noise all cars make with tires on the road. One of the reasons I head for the natural areas to get away from that noise.

At my old apartment I felt as though I was living in the infield at Daytona Speedway. So far, much quieter in the new place.

I have often thought of living in Old Town Fort Collins because there is so much there. However, because there is so much there so is the noise. Noise can be defined in many ways. There are those who become irate at the noise from Canada Geese on the pond and yet blast their rap music several decibels beyond comfort. Glad your new place is quieter. Hoping to see photos of the new place soon.
