I was not disappointed

When I started my adventure in photography, I was suddenly introduced to the world around me. I can’t believe I have been so blind for too many years.

Laura Tate Sutton

I so relate to her quote. Anyway, the weather forecast is for rain beginning mid morning and continuing through the day. So with that forecast in mind I rose early and headed to Pineridge Natural Area. I sat on that same rock, the hard one, hoping nature would offer bright colors among clouds. I was not disappointed. I think of that old adage, Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

Yowza – beautiful photo Monte. Stunning! Given your familiarity with this rock perch, I would think by now you’d bring a nice cushion along. 🙂

WOW- this is stunning! Thanks for withstanding some discomfort to capture this one. Guess the “no pain, no gain” has some merit!

Thanks, Bonnie. It was a wonderful morning, worth sitting in discomfort! After I left there and headed for Mugs at CSU for a mocha. They had both doors open when I arrived. One of the owners, McCabe, was mopping up the floor as they had a leak from one of the units above them. They were making drinks but you had to dance around a couple of buckets catching the dripping water. Sitting on that rock was nothing compared to the mess McCabe had to deal with. Hope you have a great day!!!
