A Chili Soup Day

The Blanket

It started snowing last night around 9:00 and it’s till coming down. Once, I pulled back the blankets and crawled out of bed I headed outside with camera in hand to observe the colder blanket of snow. Burrrr!

Cattails and Hungry Ducks

I’m sure not like the ducks, I do not like the cold.

Along the Pond

So, that means chili soup is on the stove! 🙂

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

LOL Now I feel much better. I actually like the winter as a season. The extreme cold at the start of the season takes me a while to get use to. But, I do like the warmer blankets.

Funny. I cannot take comfort in winter lasting only six or seven months.

Wow! We are supposed to get snow tomorrow, but it is apt to be no more that dusting of the cold white stuff. You are looking at serious winter. I would say chili soup is the only logical choice.

I very much enjoyed the slide show. Thanks for braving the cold to get these beautiful photos.

I’m not ready either. I’ve been evolving into a fair weather photographer over the past few years. It’s just more difficult to get out of a warm bed and face the cold. We are expecting a mix of rain and snow this afternoon and into tomorrow. Stay warm!
