Once I saw this street scene I knew I needed to be patient for the right person to walk into the view finder and complete the image.

Well, your patience was certainly rewarded. Love it.

Thanks, Paul. I took about 10 images to get this one.

I like this very much, just curious how many shots did you take of this guy as he passed through?
Monte Stevens
I took about 10 images of different people as they passed by. I tried to catch most of them in between the windows and against the brick wall.

Wonderful shot. Did you give that guy the blue jacket and pay him to walk in front of the windows? Also, the lines in the sidewalk and building create a nice tension.
Monte Stevens
No, he just happen to be there and with those colors and just for me. And, actually it was the lines of the sloping walkway in contrast to the building that caught my attention. Once I framed to shoot the scene I had several pedestrians walk through the view finder which caused me to change my inspiration. I then waited until people walked through the scene, taking about 8 images before I felt I had what I wanted.

Monte, I’m glad you waited…very nice shot and certainly worthy of a little patience. I like! Have a wonderful weekend.

Monte,
Great shot. Worth the wait for sure. I like the colors of the stores behind your main subject, the brick walkway and the colors of your subject. Very nice.
