Photography is the easiest art, which perhaps makes it the hardest.

There is some amazing hidden artwork in the alleys of Old Town Fort Collins. Every so often I enjoy taking my camera down these alleys and see what images I might discover. My camera does not have to stop and pee or sniff like a dog would which makes it easy. My light on this day was soft diffused light from overcast skies. I am learning to stand before scenes like this with awe. At first I was drawn to the colors, but after a while, the intricacy of all the lines pulledme into it. I’m glad I took a walk down the alley. We awoke to a couple inches of snow and it still snowing. Again, it looks like everyone is dealing with winter conditions. Stay warm and enjoy your day!

I remember seeing many interesting murals during our few visits to Fort Collins and even have collected a few photographs of them. The talent that goes into paintings like that – even graffiti – is enviable.
Glad to know your camera doesn’t need to make those periodic stops, even if it does make photography more challenging!
Monte Stevens
Yes, amazing talent. The only periodic stops are to capture images. 😂

Fascinating artwork! The longer you look, the more you see. Was there a title?
Monte Stevens
I do not remember a title or anything. Didn’t look for it either. Now I have to go back and look. It was 2° when I started my car this morning. And I see where you guys are cold toone! Stay warm!

Monte, this is fabulous! The lighting and your ability certainly bring out the light and shadows and the 3-dimention look of this which is mesmerizing. Thank you, And thank you to the gifted painter! It was balmy 5 degrees here this morning but lovely to finally have winter with the several inches of snow we received the last two days. Wonderful!

Thank you, Geri! It was a brisk 2 degrees this morning here. However, we have warmed up to 31 degrees and had blue skies and sunshine all day. Stay warm and safe!

This artist has a really great eye for shape and shadow. It would be great to know who did this.
Monte Stevens
I tried to find out information about that artist, but I couldn’t. I may have to go back down there and check if there’sa name on it. I’ll let you know what I find.
I found it: peeta
