A few days ago my sister and I noticed the petals of her flowers and the leaves, along with her lawn chairs, and everything else was covered with a golden dusting of pollen. Excitedly I grabbed the little G12 and crawled around in her yard. First over here the over there. I didn’t really care if I got any keepers, and I didn’t, but I was having fun, feeling like a little kid.

What a beautiful deep red and nice detail…but that pollen makes me want to sneeze just looking at it. We’re past our worst pollen here in NC — at least pollen that bothers me.

Pollen and dust set off a few sneezes for me, now that I’m older. Work will also stir up my allergies. 🙂

I sneeze, a lot in fact, but I don’t feel a bit sorry. The mere sight of these wonderful creations compensates for everything. This is a lovely photo, Monte.

I’ve started sneezing the older I get, like I’m getting more allergic as I age.

These colors are amazingly vibrant. Like others who have already commented, I feel a sneeze coming, but it is well worth it..

Then, bless you!

I’m not bothered by pollen, fortunately. I’m impressed with the detail that the G12 can render on the subject. It’s really amazing for any camera to shoot his well. The G12 is a bargain when you consider it’s performance, especially in your hands.

Thanks, Ken. The one thing the G12 does offer me is the quick switch to a macro mode.

Sounds like a lot of fun! The bees will be very happy as well, doing something similar to what you did! 🙂

We do live in this wonderful world and so often just walk on by. That seems to be a facet of my life I’m beginning to wake up to. I am seeing the world with new eyes.
