Absence

Canada Goose Feathers
Canada Goose Feathers

I have been absent from the internet for over a week as I finish working on some health issues. I’ve struggled with BPH for 20 years and things are now coming to a head. Spent an evening in ER last weekend and am now walking around with a catheter until RALSP surgery which I will have in two weeks from today. Hopefully this will improve the quality of my life.

Life is always changing and I think these two images present nature creating new art each second. It never ends!

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

I’d noticed your absence Monte and I’m sorry to hear the reason behind it. All the best with the operation my friend.

I’m okay with the surgery but I may not be the morning of surgery. At first the catheter was irritating and sometimes painful but it’s becoming comfortable as each day moves on. I’ve decided to look at it as a short term relationship. I’m going to use her and dump here during the next four weeks then she’s outta here. 🙂

Not fun, I know, but at least there are pretty successful solutions/options available. Hang in there and we’ll be thinking of you.

Hey, my friend. I’ve not been cruising the web for a while. I’m sorry to hear about your surgery, but I certainly hope that it will improve your quality of life. I had to go and look up what those things were. I had no idea. As for your catheter, kick her to the curb as soon as possible! 🙂 Let her know that you can “go” on your own!

I’m looking forward to the day she’s out of my life. I’m amazed at the things they can do now for surgery. Robots are less invasive and improve recovery times. That’s a good thing.

Hey Monte, I haven’t been around much either – hopefully we are all enjoying the outdoors more. I’m glad I decided to check in here. Twenty years is a long time! I hope this resolves with minimal recovery.
