An evening in Old Town

The lights of Old Town bring people together in one of the restaurants

Took the bus to Old Town the other night and walked around with my camera. This is not all that sharp as I was hand holding it. You can see on the left side of the image how the lights are lit up in town. I will try and take a few images of the lights during this Christmas season. It was a bit on the cold side and thus the reason no one was sitting outside and I’ll blame that for the blurr, also.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

It’s a little hard to take a sharp photo when your hands are shaking, isn’t it? I love those lights, and imagine that it would be beautiful with a little snow on the ground and in the air. I would need a tripod, but you just might be able to pull it off! 🙂

Not bad at all for a night shot on a cold night. It’s a lovely scene in any case; not at all impacted by the lack of sharpness. Looking forward to more shots like this.

Thanks, Cedric. One more thing I have some difficult time with shots like this are all the color temperatures within the scene. Wish I understood it better but the only way is to practice and find out how. 🙂
