Another Cold Morning

tracks in the snow
letting us all know
a cottontail was here

Another cold morning and expecting another cold night and into the morning. Slept like a baby with the extra blanket on top. We are now up to -1 degree with sunshine and clear blue skies. Very beautiful! I love my wool socks! Stay warm and dry. Happy Monday.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

You definitely had a visit from Peter Cottontail!

Yay for wool socks! I love my Smartwool socks, and a neighbor recently recommended Heatholder socks. They look interesting but very thick, to the point where I’m not sure they would fit my shoes. I also think they are online only and made in Canada, so by the time I got some I probably wouldn’t need them anymore!

    Stay warm out there!

I have the smartwool socks and a brand named Darn Tough that I also like. They are in the same price range and have a bigger variety. Yes the thicker sock probably won’t work for me.

The image was taken yesterday morning at Pineridge Natural Area. I was there early enough that the only tracks were the animals. As I pulled into the parking lot a coyote was standing in the road then bolted off into the brush. I seee where you are suppose to get rain tonight so stay dry.
