As I mentioned yesterday in my post we awoke to a wintry scene and cold temperatures. About 10:30 when it warmed up to 27 degrees I decided to take the camera for a walk. Wow! We still have leaves on trees but they are in the process of dropping. The past couple days has seemed like a constant scene of leaves drifting through the air. I love it! After the snowfall the leaves continued to fall as a part of their life cycle so the patterns and colors of the leaves on the fresh snow was to enticing not to take a few images. Each tree had it’s own colors and patterns to offer. Hope you enjoy!

Oh yes! Three gorgeous abstracts that speak perfectly of seasonal transition. Very nice Monte. Especially like the way you presented them. It was an unsuspected surprise when the image changed from the first to the second.

It was a surprise to me also as I walked from tree to tree, scene to scene. Gifts of art given to us when we look to see.

What a great set of images, and like Cedric I was pleasantly surprised when they started to change!

Thanks, Tom!

I don’t really want to be thinking about snow at the moment, but there is no denying it adds a great contrast element to these shots. Nice!
