Mary, is/was indeed lucky to have such a lake. Very lovely photograph, Monte!

There is a story here, Earl. The lake was made by an Army officer, based at the arsenal, using a bulldozer to dredge it out. He wanted to provide a place for his daughter to fish and explore. The lake has several boardwalks for children and those who are handicapped to experience the wildlife and an up close view of nature. I loved it!

Thanks, Mark. As you can see I do not have the same size lake as you do. This just about covers the whole lake. I would like to spend some time along the shore of any of the Great Lakes. That would be cool.
