Curiosity

A chai latte, blank pages and fountain pen full of ink

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

I like the Arboretum coffee shop because it is quiet. Its ambiance seems to be more directed towards students who study and reminds me of the Lory Student Center on campus. They do play music, but it’s very low in volume and easy listening music. It is also an enjoyable two mile bicycle ride for me along Spring Creek Trail. Even though I am not a college student, I still consider myself to be a student of life. Hopefully, I will always have curiosity, inviting me to keep asking the questions.

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

I can only speak for myself, but I have done really well on some pop quizzes and flunked out on a few others. And life usually lets me retake some of those pop quizzes. Hope you have wonderful day, Mark!

That looks like to coffee shop for me, Monte. My problem continues to be fear of failing the tests, pop quizzes or planned events. I so appreciate the reframing of approaching life with curiosity vs. right and wrong. Work in progress!

Yes, Geri. The perfect coffee shop for you. Just to the right of where I am sitting are 2 big cushy chair with a small table between them. You could just sit down in there with a coffee and butter croissant while the chair wraps its arms around you. One of the cool things about life’s pop quizzes, though, is we get to retake them.

That’s an excellent photo composition for this post, Monte. Sometimes, I’m a “student” and don’t realize it until after the fact. Take care!
