I do not think the measure of a civilization is how tall its buildings of concrete are, but rather how well its people have learned to relate to their environment and fellow man.

I feel there is a lot of truth in the above quote. It seems our society still has not learned how to relate to the environment or our fellow man. May you have a wonderful week!

I agree, Monte. While the current state of our civilization may seem grim, there are still many good individuals who care about the environment and their fellow human beings. For now, we should focus on holding onto those truths as our north star. I like this early morning photo with the farm buildings.

I agree with you, Earl, and we had one of them die today, Pope Francis. So, I will focus on holding onto those truths as our north star.
