I’m forever thankful to my parents for teaching me to enjoy reading as a youngin’. I learned, not wanting to be left out while watching my Mom work with my older sister. Then she would read to use both every day. I’m not that much of a writer but I appreciate those who are. Lovely photo, Monte, and it certainly is the center of attention. 🙂

Reading was something I began to enjoy later in my life, early 40s. It’s a wonderful passion I’m grateful to have.

I too like to read, such a great way to be some place else or someone else all without the need to work on yourself or leave the sofa 🙂
I don’t know where I picked up reading from . I don’t recall my parents reading much at all. I have, however, managed to pass on the joy of reading to my kids, which is great because I like talking about books as much as I like reading them.
Nice Fall photo Monte.

I have two out of three children who read. The youngest daughter reads everything while I’m more of a non-fiction reader.
