I do not have a grill back in Colorado at my condo because of a city fire code. Anyway, now that I’m house sitting I have been able to use my brother-in-law’s grill, twice. Last night it was spicy sausages. 🙂
While things were cooking I was drawn to the neighbors back yard and the little fountain they had. The scene was beckoning me to grab my camera, step over near their wall, kneel down, compose and press the shutter. To me it represents the life people live down here.
Let me tell you, I am not used to this heat at night. Back in Colorado we cool down at night, but not here. It can still be 85-90 when I go to bed. It would take some adjustment for me to live here.
Oh, and in case you care to know, the sausages were Awesome!

90 degrees at bed time, yikes!

Yes. It’s not just the heat that they live with down here but it’s the constant heat. For others in this world we live with constant cold, rain, humidity, wind. There is no perfect place not can we change the world. We must live with where we are.

That’s not a bad view to look at while you grill, although I’m not sure how I’d feel about that heat. Next thing we know you’ll be cooking up a big ole’ ribeye!

The people down here are acclimated to the heat just as I’m acclimated to the cooler weather. Yep, I imagine a ribeye would work just fine, also!

Yeah, but it’s a dry heat! 🙂 It’s finally cooled down here in the Carolinas, thankfully. It’s actually jacket weather in the morning. It was about 46 this morning when I went out. Daytime, still in the 70s. I think this in-between time!
Mmmm. Spicy sausages!

They’ve already had snow in the High Country back in Colorado. Furnaces are now running and I imagine a few fireplaces have had a log or two burned in them. Glad you’re enjoying the in-between weather. I may need to use the grill again before I leave. 🙂
