From visits west years ago I remember how the wind across prairie grass reminded me of wind swept waves across water. It’s a beautiful sight that’s stuck with me for years.
I found this area north of town on a country road. It is all private land so I need to shoot from the road or bar ditch. I do not know enough about natural grasses to tell if this is some of it. It really doesn’t matter as long as it grows tall and blows in the wind. It works for me as a place of beauty.
In my cast it’s probably due to the sugar rush from to many lattes and DQ blizzards. The other possibility could be the wandering eyes of a photographer serving all over the roads, intent on finding some image with the right light or some subject ya just gotta shoot.

Love the clouds in this photo.

Hmmm. A bar ditch. Is that where one ends up after having too much to drink? 😉
