This was taken on a late afternoon bicycle ride last week. One of the many things the city of Fort Collins offers are nice riding/walking paths and trails. Bicycling.com has Fort Collins ranked number 11 of the top 50 cities over 95,000 in population. It boasts of 310 miles of cycling networks and shared roads. That could take a while to cover especially if you stopped at each coffee and ice cream shop. Have a Happy Monday!

Nice image, Monte – what lens did you use? Back when I rode a lot, one of my favorite rides was a Fort Collins ride, can’t recall the name, might have been “Spring Fling”. It was windy, cold and then snowy. What a blast!

Took this with a Fujifilmx-e1 and the kit lens, 18-50mm f2.8-4.0. Sweet lens IMHO. The city also does a great job keeping the paved trails and the roads clean and safe. I’ll ride in the cold but not when there’s ice or snow. I’ve not heard of the “Spring Fling.”

Charlotte seems to be working on gaining ground with cycling but has a long way to go. Seems they could learn a thing or three from Fort Collins.
Got to love a good starburst!

It is definitely a bike friendly city. Now that Colorado State University is back in session bikes are everywhere.
