This is how I’m spending New Years Eve. One of the first things I did when I got to my hotel room after a 14 hour duty was pull off the shoes and socks while at the same time taking off my tie. There’s a real knack for doing this without falling over and requires lots of practice. Anyway, the four of us were too pooped to go out so I ate some leftovers I brought along, took this silly self-portrait and then will probably be asleep by ten. We are back out again in the morning to do it all over again with new passengers and new adventures. Happy New Years to everyone and please be safe. See ya next year. Tweaked this one with Topaz Adjust.

Yes, Mary Ann, New Years went well even with all the weather problems. The joys of air travel. 🙂

I did much the same, except I didn’t have a computer in my lap, I had my head on the pillow, and the lights were out.
Have a good and safe new year Monte.

Thanks, Paul. After taking this image and posting it I slipped under the covers and slept like a baby. I was well rested the next morning and ready for the day.
Paul
Happy New Years, Monte. You look quite comfy. Happy trails!

Thanks, Paul and Happy New Years to you and Hobbs!

Well thank goodness there wasn’t any “Bunny Slippers.” 😉 Happy New Year my friend!

Oh…by the way. I may “borrow” you blue link color for my site. 🙂
Monte Stevens
I think that color would look good on your site and I’m not sure its my color. 🙂 Who told you I had “Bunny Slippers?” Hope you guys had a good New Years.

After a 14 hour shift, this is probably exactly what I would be doing. Perhaps a bit more horizontal. Happy New Day – after all – that is all it really is. 🙂

You are so right on that account, a new year to journey through. Looking forward to all the ideas my friends and family will bring to life this coming year. Show us what yours are, Mark.

I loved the description of the “dance” at the beginning of the story. Mark has it right. After a day like that how did you manage the computer angle? Happy New Year and may you have fewer 14 hour days.
Monte Stevens
I never thought of it as a dance but you are right. And, Happy New Year to you Anita!
