… the dawn is by its very nature, a peaceful, mysterious and contemplative time of day – a time when one naturally pauses and looks with awe at the eastern sky. It is a time of new life, new beginning, and therefore important to the spiritual life: for the spiritual life is nothing else but a perpetual interior renewal.

This is a lovely, warm image, Monte, even though the plant in the foreground looks like a thistle. Growing up, my dad and I used to routinely dig them up in the pastures, but we never seemed to get them all. Have a great week!

You’re right, Earl, it does have a warm feel to it. I know there’s a real hate relationship with thistle. I don’t have that relationship, as they are a beautiful plat, but I don’t want them in my neighborhood. 😂 The larger bush is a rabbit brush and in front of it is sage.
