Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography. – George Eastman
In continuing with the hotel theme from yesterday, here is another photo taken in our hotel just outside the elevator on the fifth floor. These vases are huge, standing almost four feet tall. The inviting afternoon light had a warm glow and beckoned me to find the best perspective I could.

Nice symmetry and contrast together and beautiful light.
Have a good Wednesday, Monte.

Thanks, Mary Ann and I hope you are enjoying your day! This is one of those scenes I have walked by many times but never walked around it. That was the surprise.

Monte, beautiful composition and reflections. Someone give the person that polishes that floor a raise! 🙂

That floor can blind you. 🙂 Those vases have always interested me but this perspective and light was the one I needed. Wonder what I’ll find the next time I’m there.

I agree with Earl on composition and reflection, very nice.

Glad you agree, something I see a lot of photographers agreeing on.
