“Each of us touches many lives as we go through our days. It might not be a visible connection, but a ripple that we create with what we say and do which will, as it reverberates ever outward, affect others in unseen and unintentional ways.” Faye White
How true Faye’s words are. I smile as I think of those who have touched my life. There is no doubt my family and friends have all helped in guiding and directing my journey to this point in time. I also feel this community of photographers I have met via the internet also has touched my life in many ways. Solid critiquing will always help us in a creative craft.

Monte, often those who touch our lives are not aware they have. It may be something inconsequential to them that reverberates to the core of our being for us.
I love the touches of purple budding flowers in your photo.

Thanks, Earl, and you are so right. It also goes the other way as we can be the one touching smothers life.
In this image I used spot metering rather than matrix and it came out quite well. I would have lost the colors with matrix.

Your images of nature and the colors have been eye-popping the last few days, very nice.

Thanks, Don. I was home the past 3 days and spent some time in the Metro Parks, one day with only a 105mm macro. It’s a good day assignment.

Monte,
Stunning photo. I’ve been looking at this for a few minutes amazed. The light is awesome, as is the smooth background. Excellent shot!

Thanks, Alan. The light was good for me and I spot metered so that the background would be darker.
