We had a nice snowfall on Christmas Day, maybe 2 inches but along with that came some very cold air. It was down to almost zero last night. We have cold temperatures today but beautiful sunshine. Forecast is to not be above 32 degrees and night time temperatures in the single digits until Friday. I think I ate more sugar the past 3 days than the last 6 months. The holidays and family gatherings seem to do that. Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Stay warm!

Another day in the 70’s here. Weird stuff…just about enough to win over some of the climate deniers. But probably not enough, and we know it won’t last. If the Panthers keep winning even heck might freeze over. Stay warm!

Trying to stay warm but this morning it’s at 3 degrees right now. Brrr.

I sure know what you mean about sugar this time of year 🙂 but I’m trying to imagine the temperatures you’re talking about. Kind of hard when it’s somewhere between 85 and 90 Fahrenheit over here with over 80% humidity. Anyway, glad to hear you had a good Christmas as I had though with tropical rain instead of snow. Stay warm and safe Monte.

Now that temperature and humidity are hard for me to deal with. I’m able to deal with the heat or cold as long as there is little humidity. That is the breaker for me. Watching how nature deals with the extreme cold this time of year is enlightening. This cold snow is actually helping some plants and animals survive this cold as it acts as an insulator. For me any exposed skin is dangerous. Makes me appreciate my simple little home and furnace. The thermometer in my car said 3 degrees this morning. Stay cool!
