I’m way late responding to comments, but Thanks, Tom.

I really like that quote as well as the photo, Monte. I’m afraid I often make that mistake of doing nothing. Hope you’re getting a little warmer weather out there.

I won’t say it’s a a battle but I move in and out of those times in my life. Thanks, Earl.

Monte, I’m having trouble posting my comment. I have tried several times so you may have a few comments from me. If so just leave one and delete the rest.
This post is quite timely for me and something I can relate to. Both to the words and the photo. It has been months since I have had the opportunity to go out with my camera for the sole purpose of making photos for me. As such I’m almost out of photos to post. The thing is, as Sydney Smith suggested, I do what I can which has meant using my phone. The images aren’t exactly stellar but occasionally I get one, much like yours here, that is interesting for its simplicity. In your case, you can also boast of having captured some gorgeous light.

Not sure what happened, Cedric, but there is only one comment. I’m not getting in the same amount of shooting as I have in the past. There is less desire and motivation to be out there. Of course there are several distractions in my life at this time. As I was putting away the dishes I notice the light and shadows so I quickly grabbed my camera as this sort of light can be short lived. I like it when something is read, heard, seen, experienced that are meant for us at that exact time.

I love those shots around the house where the light is just right, as it is here. It can turn simple things into something special.

I think we need to use that word “simnple” more often in life. It would make it simpler.
