This image is from 2011 and was taken on the west side of Lake Loveland. The fog and light snow created a scene with seemingly no horizon. It is a simple image that I converted to black and white. Our weather forecast is for a 30% chance of light rain and snow both today and Monday. Right we’re at 17 degrees and overcast skies. Hope your having a great weekend.

This is a very peaceful scene, Monte. The trees and their reflections are obviously the focal point, but all of the surrounding negative space provides an element of mystery.
We flirted with freezing rain this morning but the temperature didn’t quite dip to freezing, at least not at our location. Temps here are supposed to fluctuate between 40 and the upper 60s over the next week or so. We fly to FLL for a cruise on 2/16 and are hoping to return home to something resembling spring. 😉
Stay warm and hang in there!

oops, intended to say upper 50’s, not upper 60’s!

Trying to stay warm. We’re up to 20 degrees now. Brrrr!
Thanks for your comment and input. Yes, the negative space adds the element of mystery to the scene. I’m not sure the image is too gray but this is what I have for now. I’ll play with it some more.
