I want to believe these are the words the seagull is wanting to tell this photographer. And if not it at least makes for an interesting title to this post. Most portraits need a model, so this guy found a willing model for his portrait. I had to smile as I took this image because I was lucky enough to find two models, one being the photographer. I’m also assuming the seagull is expecting something in return for the few poses offered, which did not happen. This was taken on Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara. It was also a good for sailing.

I like photos of people taking photos, and you’ve actually got a couple of “fauxtographers” in the frame. 🙂
I’m sure it’s a boat in the background of the sailboat photo, but at first glace I thought it was a whale!

Actually the two photographers were together. I walked over to them afterwards when he was showing her the images of the gull and showed them the photos I’d taken of him. And, I’m not sure if the sailboat in the background of the first image is the same boat in the second. Just don’t remember.

I believe that seagull probably uttered a few curse words when the photographer left in seagull speak. I can imagine something along the lines of “cheapskate,” or “next time I’ll show you my backside if you aren’t going to reward me for posing.” 🙂

Ah, the curse words and loud squawking as they fly away. And frustrated with man and his toy.

I have my own share of seagull photos but I’m not sure anyone photographed me while taking seagull photos. Hmmmmm…

Sounds like a new project for you. Make it your best side. 🙂
