Sitting in a small coffee shop called Cafe Ole. It’s a new place that I just found out about it. I’m also finishing up a breakfast burrito from a local Mexican restaurant that they serve here. We have overcast skies and temperatures is hovering around 43 degrees. I consider it a good fall day. The forecast is for winds to pick up as a front moves into the area. I found this leaf a couple weeks ago while wandering around outside. The weather and the fallen leaf are bringing on a melancholy feeling this morning. I’m back to work again tomorrow for a 4-day trip. Work sure does get in the way of life.

Just keep reminding yourself that work is an inconvenient but necessary interruption in your days! 🙂
Cafe Ole’…love the name!

I do not consider photography and finding coffee shops to be work. I have that figured out. Yet, I do include photography in my work and travels.

Work surely is overrated, my friend. 😀

Weel, that makes four us. Do we have a majority?

You’ve got my vote, Monte!

I am fairly sure that I am allergic to my current day-job. It’s certainly a rude interruption to the weekend. But, hey, such is life. Hopefully it will have been an easy four days for you and by the time you read this you’ll be back having coffee at Ole’ 🙂

Thank you, as it was a good trip. Making a pot of chicken noodle soup and finishing up some post processing for some portraits I shot last week. I don’t mind this sort or work rather than confining myself to an aircraft full of people. I’m not allergic to rising early for a sunrise or coming after dark for a sunset. I’m not allergic to searching for small coffee shops, either. We’re going to be healthier people when we stay away from those things we are allergic to. 🙂
