My online journal where I share my interests in photography, nature, coffee life, journaling, fountain pens, bicycling, spirituality and asking deep questions.
Well, I do not read the paper, gave that up over 20 years ago. There didn’t seem to be an news worth reading. I also had reached the age where I looked in obituaries first to see who I knew had died and make sure I was not in it. 🙂 But, that coffee, well …..
Well, my friend it is 6 degrees with light snow right now. Predictions are for 2-4 inches of snow and bitter cold for the next 3 days. Stay warm! Just noticed I accidentally scheduled 2 posts on the same day. This was suppose to post tomorrow. 🙂
Ha! I’m glad that you haven’t found your name in the obits, Monte! 🙂 Now, as for that temperature, I was going to say, Brrrr, but instead I’ll say: Damn! Too cold! 😀 Looks like we are in for a bit of winter weather this weekend, my friend. We’ll see.
I’ve always enjoyed the act of reading a newspaper, but our local paper is now published in a weird paper size that is awful to handle. And the lack of actual news makes it worthless these days. I subscribe to the New York Times on my tablet, but most days never get around to reading it! And even it has limited value these days.
As Paul said, it looks like you’ve sent some of that winter weather our way, darn it! Although it may give me time to write some blog posts. And maybe read the paper. Definitely will drink some coffee regardless!
I saw that weather forecast. 🙁 I find I can pick up on significant news just through word of mouth. We are a society that wants to tell people what we know.
