Morning Walk

Grass and reflections at Pineridge Natural Area

Did not sleep well as I ate too much yesterday afternoon at the graduation BBQ. Took a morning walk at Pineridge and am off my normal schedule by an hour or so. It is already hot today. Here are some images from my time there.

Prickly Pear blossom and a couple of friends

Have a great Sunday!

Retired. Having fun with photography. Journal daily. Meditate daily. Learning haiku/poetry. Have a love for fountain pens.

Eating too much doesn’t work for me either 🙂 I also find a nice walk after a short or bad night’s sleep to be of great benefit. Especially when you can follow it up with an afternoon nap 😉

Don’t underestimate the way “people-ing” can affect your ability to rest well. And nothing wrong with an occasional late morning, or a nap, or both. Definitely not related to age at all. Huh uh! 😉

One thing I’ve noticed in this lockdown has been the enjoyment of more time in solitude, in nature, walking, reading, journaling, writing and more photography. I let people-ing get out of control. This has helped me set some better boundaries. It is cloudy, cooler and raining, much different than when the above images were taken.
