Appealing, yes…inviting (as in please sit down), no! I like the single set of footprints in the snow at the bottom frame.

Thanks, Earl. I have to admit I did not pay any attention to the footprints when composing the image. 🙂

I think Earl said it all. The photo appeals enormously. On the other hand, the idea of sitting on that cold bench gives me a bit of a shiver. I love what the footprints add to the story.

Well, I did not sit on the bench, just took a few images and walked on by. 🙂

It’s still a good spot to sit given the right clothing.
Monte Stevens
Lots of clothing!!!

Well, I would want a few layers on if I were going to sit there, but a park bench is still an attractive site–nice photo.
Monte Stevens
Yes, several layers would help. One additional thing to this image that makes is attractive is the quiet. Hope you enjoyed your weekend.

While not inviting for a seat, at the moment, it is a nice ‘thought’ of the future. Things are sleeping, rebuilding, recovering right now, getting ready for spring. If you brushed a little snow off the bench, you’d have a nice, quiet place to sit. You might look a little odd and out of place, but who cares. 🙂

I’ve actually done that, Paul, and I did not care who saw or what they thought. I already know I’m a bit odd. 🙂 Looking forward to the warmer weather.
