On early morning trips to any one of my favorite coffee shops you will find a few regulars and I’m not talking about regular coffee. John is one the regulars. The baristas always greet him when he walks in the door carrying the morning paper under his arm and sharing his inviting smile. The baristas know him, the customers know him. It’s people like John that make the world a good place to call home.

There’s a certain reassurance having “regulars” isn’t there — regular routines, regular friends, regular people and place to see/visit..or just being regular! LOL
I hope you have a wonder holidays, Monte!

Yes, I include myself in that catagory of a regular. And, hope you enjoy your Christmas with family.

Ah, the comfort of the routine. It is nice to see the same folks every day, day in, day out. As much as things are prone to change, it’s wonderful to have some ‘sameness’.

Routines, traditions can be grounding for some people. Very true in my life.

It would be quite useless becoming a regular at a Starbucks in Australia because the staff turnover is such that they wouldn’t last long enough to get to know you. The only place I’m a regular at is my office at work. I really need to do something about changing that 🙂

Maybe that can be one of your objectives for the coming year. 🙂
